Terms of Use

The Service is intended for builders, contractors, quantity surveyors, site engineers, and small construction firms. You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

buildam.io provides editable templates and a document editor for preparing BOQs, estimates, and invoices. Templates are structured starting points. The Service supports your workflow but does not replace professional review or judgment. You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and final use of any document you create or export.

You retain rights to the project information, line items, company branding, and documents you create on the Service ("Your Content"). You grant buildam.io a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any data, branding, or material you upload, and that Your Content does not violate any law or third-party right.

Some features are available on a free plan; others require a paid subscription. Paid plans, billing cycles, watermark behavior, branding, and export limits are described on our pricing and billing pages. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges in line with the plan you select.

You agree to use the Service in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Misuse, fraud, abuse of billing, attempts at unauthorized access, or interference with the Service may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Documents generated through the Service — including BOQs, estimates, and invoices — are working drafts that you control. You are responsible for reviewing quantities, rates, descriptions, totals, taxes, and any project-specific assumptions before using a document professionally. See the Document Disclaimer.

We work to keep the Service stable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may make changes, updates, or improvements to the Service over time. Where reasonably possible, we will preserve access to your existing data through such changes.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or create risk for other users or the operation of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. After cancellation, residual data handling is described in our Privacy Policy and Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, buildam.io is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that documents produced with the Service will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular project without your review. Our liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
