Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes activities that are not allowed on buildam.io. It applies to all users — free and paid. The goal is to keep the platform safe, reliable, and trustworthy for construction professionals.
1. Prohibited activities
- Creating or distributing fraudulent BOQs, estimates, or invoices.
- Impersonating another person, business, or professional credential.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, projects, or admin functions.
- Abusing or attempting to bypass billing, plan limits, or payment systems.
- Uploading or entering content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful.
- Scraping, automated extraction, or interference with normal user or admin workflows.
- Disrupting the operation of the Service, including denial-of-service or excessive load.
- Using the Service to misrepresent pricing or professional standing in deceptive ways.
- Sharing your account credentials, or selling access to your account.
2. How we respond
If we detect or are notified of a violation, we may take any of the following actions: warn the account holder, restrict specific features, suspend the account, terminate access, or remove offending content. Where appropriate, we may also notify relevant authorities.
3. Reporting misuse
If you believe someone is using buildam.io in a way that violates this policy, please report it to contact@buildam.io. Include enough detail for us to investigate.
4. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
