It is intended for early planning and decision support — not as a final, contractually binding figure. Actual cost depends on project scope, site conditions, contractor rates, material choices, and professional review.

In the Pro Workflow, templates provide pre-built sections and line items based on common project types. They are designed to save time, not to replace your assessment of the specific project. You can edit every description, unit, quantity, and rate.

BOQs, estimates, and invoices created on buildam.io are user-controlled documents. You are expected to review and adjust quantities, rates, totals, taxes, contingency, and descriptions before using a document professionally.

buildam.io supports cost planning and document preparation. It does not guarantee that any output is accurate, complete, or appropriate for a specific project. Site conditions, scope changes, local pricing, supplier availability, and professional judgment still matter.

Totals, subtotals, contingency, and tax are calculated from the values you enter. The calculations are deterministic but they are only as reliable as the inputs you review. Verify totals before relying on them.

Exported documents may be used in professional workflows. You remain responsible for the contents of any exported document, including accuracy, formatting, and use of branding. Free-plan exports include a small watermark; Pro-plan exports use your saved company profile once configured.

Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, financial, tax, or engineering advice. For decisions that require certified professional input, consult an appropriately qualified professional.

Future features such as Hire a Professional and Trusted Materials Access are described as early-access waitlists. They are not live services today, and joining a waitlist does not create a binding agreement to provide professional or supply services.
